Outgoing Shamrocks manager Henry Shefflin
Henry Shefflin has stood down as senior manager of the Shamrocks with the news due to be confirmed at the club's AGM later this evening (January 2) Kilkenny Live has learned.
The development is not hugely surprising to local GAA fans with the ten-time Liam MacCarthy winner taking over the reigns as the new Kilkenny under-20 hurling manager. - READ MORE HERE

Last year's county title winning campaign was Shefflin's second stint in charge after previously managing his native club to a clean sweep of county, provincial and All-Ireland titles over two seasons.
In his three years in charge, the outgoing manager has only lost one competitive match in charge of the Shamrocks with their Leinster Final loss to St Martin's (Wexford) last month his only setback.
