Dr Dearbhaile Collins
Kilkenny woman Dr Dearbhaile Collins will be featured in Any Given Day: Cork University Hospital, a new RTÉ documentary series which will give a look behind the scenes at one of Ireland’s busiest hospitals.
Dr Collins is Clinical Director of Cancer Services and Consultant Medical Oncologist at the hospital as well as serving as President of the Irish Society of Gynaecological Oncology.
The documentary is a six part series, with each episode focusing on staff shifts and patient experiences to form a wide story over the course of a single day.
Episode one airs tonight, January 7, at 9:35pm on RTÉ One and the RTÉ Player.
