RIP: Kilkenny GAA and local club mourns the passing of 'legend'

Graigue Ballycallan have paid tribute to a club 'legend' following the sad passing of Jack Ronan last week.

"The word 'legend' gets thrown around quite a bit these days, but this man surpassed the word in every sense. On Tuesday we lost a piece of our Club. The glue that held it all together - Jack Ronan," a club spokesperson said.

"We offer our deepest condolences to Joan, Johnny, Maurice, Peter, Timmy, Nora, Kitty, Jack’s daughters-in-law, his grandchildren, great grandchildren, extended family and wide circle of friends.

"The Club will be lost without him, but we know we will continue to keep the light shining for you Jack. Rest in peace," they added.
