Water supply returns in Thomastown - Uisce Éireann

Calls for Uisce Eireann to attend municipal district meeting

 A full water supply is returning to Thomastown customers affected by an early morning burst.

Crews have completed repairs and reopened Mauldin Street where the repairs took place.

Uisce Éireann’s Shane Aylward thanked customers and road users for their patience while crews worked tirelessly to minimise disruption.

“Within the past hour works were completed, water has returned to customers affected and the road has been reopened. We know how inconvenient a burst is for the public, but our crews were on site immediately to carry out repairs.

“Customers with any queries can contact our customer care team, available to help 24/7, on 1800 278 278 and customers can also contact us on X @IWCare.” 

Uisce Éireann also offers a free text alert service, providing real-time updates on local issues. Customers can sign up with their Eircode and mobile number at water.ie.
