Match official confirmed for Alianz League clash between Galway and Kilkenny

Colm Lyons will referee the Kilkenny and Galway game on Saturday.

Cork referee Colm Lyons will be the man in the middle as Kilkenny and Galway collide in the penultamate round of the Allianz Hurling League in Salthill on Saturday night.

The game is a repeat of last year's Leinster Final and crucial points are up for grabs with both sides still in a battle to maintain their Division 1A status.

Lyons last took charge of a Kilkenny game when they defeated Limerick i last year's league campaign while his last championship clash was the Cats All-Ireland semi-final win over Clare in 2023.

The game from Pearse Stadium throws-in at 5.15pm and is live on RTE Television.
