James Owens will officiate Saturday's game between Kilkenny and Tipperary
Kilkenny and Tipperary will round off their Division 1A hurling league campaign when they face off in the final round of action on Saturday night.
The two rivals meet in Semple Stadium, Thurles for a 7pm throw-in and while there's not much at stake with both teams already assured of their top tier safety it's still a Kilkenny and Tipp meeting so a cracking contest is anticipated.
All eyes will be on Derek Lyng's Kilkenny team as they take to the field for the first time since their heavy 18 point loss to Galway in Salthill so a much improved display is anticipated.
There will be a familiar man in the middle for both teams with Wexford official James Owens overseeing proceedings just like he did for last year's conroversial All-Ireland semi-final meeting.
