Threecastles native Rachel Walsh, sponsored by Walsh School Furniture, was announced as the winner at a well-attended ceremony in the Ormonde Hotel in Kilkenny City on Saturday night.
Walsh takes over from last year's Rose, Lisa O'Rourke.
"We cannot wait to see Rachel shine in Tralee this August," a spokesperson for the Kilkenny Rose of Tralee said.
