Uneven supply of fuel is hitting Kilkenny forecourts on the fourth day of protests as some petrol stations have been able to restock on petrol and diesel while pumps have run dry at others.
The nationwide protests over the cost of fuel have resulted in the blockading of depots and refineries leading to rationing and panic buying.
In Kilkenny City, Corrib Oil on College Road isn’t currently in danger of running out although there’s a €50 limit per customer filling up.
The station is expecting another delivery of fuel soon showing that supply, although greatly constrained, hasn’t been cut off completely.

Other locations are feeling shortages more sharply however; Circle K Park on the Castlecomer Road has no petrol as of Friday afternoon although they still have diesel.
The forecourt is expecting their petrol to be restocked late tonight or early tomorrow morning, but anticipate problems with their diesel stock running out later on Saturday.
