Joy as Kilkenny club hurler ties the knot at gorgeous wedding ceremony

Congratulations have flooded in across St Patrick's Parish for Diarmuid Cody and his fiancée Jessica O'Dwyer on their marriage on Friday last in Clonakilty, County Cork.

The happy occasion saw the coming together of two James Stephens and Kilkenny sporting dynasties, with a proud hurling record going back three generations of their families.

After exchanging their vows and the celebration of Mass in the Sacred Heart Church, Clonakilty, the wedding party travelled to the Fern Hill House Hotel for the traditional wedding breakfast, after which they settled into an evening of music, dance, and family chats to celebrate the happy occasion. We send our wishes to Diarmuid and Jessica for a long and happy life together.
