Kilkenny under-20 manager Henry Shefflin has called for an improved performance from his young side ahead of a meeting with Galway in the Leinster Championship on Wednesday evening.
The Cats travel to O'Moore Park, Portlaoise for a 7.30pm with a win and a draw so far in the round-robin against Kildare and Wexford respectively.
"To be honest, we're not too happy with the overall performance both days," Shefflin told Kilkenny People Sport.

"I think we are improving slightly but we know there's lots of levels and we have a massive game against Galway, who we know are a serious outfit and put Wexford fairly easily to the sword in bad conditions.
"We know it's a big step up for us, but you would hope the levels of performance would improve as we go on," he added.
