A woman (60s) died yesterday following a tragic accident in South Kilkenny.
Gardaí were called to the scene in the Piltown area yesterday (Saturday) at the request of ambulance services.
A woman in her 60s was pronounced dead at the scene after receiving fatal injuries.
Her body has been removed to the Mortuary at University Hospital Waterford.
A file will be prepared for the Coroner.
Foul play is not suspected.
