HiTec Medicare named Kilkenny Business of the Year at glittering awards night in Lyrath

HiTec Medicare won the overall Business of the Year at last night's Kilkenny Chamber Business Awards.

Valley of Roses won Retailer of the Year, and Blushes Hair Salon was named Small Business of the Year.

Businessman Eamon Langton won the President's Award, while the Lifetime Achievement award was presented to Elizabeth Wall of Frank Wall Man’s Shop.

Over 400 people from around the county gathered at the Lyrath Estate Hotel for the gala event, where over 20 awards were presented.

Guest of honour and keynote speaker was former Kilkenny hurling manager Brian Cody, who spoke of the resilience and hard work of local businesses in keeping Kilkenny vibrant. Helen Carroll was the MC for the event.
