Find the perfect gift at the Yulefest Christmas Market in Kilkenny

The Yulefest Christmas Market is back! Taking place every weekend from Saturday, November 26 and throughout Christmas week the market is bigger and better than ever.

Come along to the Parade to enjoy the festive atmosphere, try some delicious and hearty food and pick the perfect gifts this Christmas! Local artisans and craftspeople will be showcasing their wares in constructed wooden huts. There will be live music on the bandstand, and plenty of food and coffee options.

With the increased cost of living, organisers are encouraging everyone to purchase mindfully this year. Instead of picking up a mass-produced item that’s wrapped in plastic, people can shop locally and with care by selecting a hand-made item from the market. They’ll appreciate the personal touch by the maker and the thought put into selecting it for them will make it all the more special.

People can spend money on something that the recipient will treasure, as well as supporting someone in the local community and is kind to the environment. Yulefest Market provides the opportunity to find beautiful gifts that will stand the test of time, the joy of discovering new and exciting Irish-made brands, and the feel-good factor of helping a small business.

Yulefest Christmas in Kilkenny returns at the end of November. Kilkenny’s Medieval City will transform into a Christmas Wonderland of festive cheer for all the family. After the success of last year’s festival, this year Yulefest has grown, with a larger Christmas Market on the Parade and an extended Christmas week programme.

Yulefest Kilkenny runs for five weeks and welcomes visitors to Kilkenny with a packed programme of Christmas activities including live music on the Yulefest Bandstand; the Kilkenny Christmas Market where you can pick up perfect presents for the ones you love; the annual Medieval Mile Run; Yulefest Outdoor Movie Night; and Elf Village in Castlecomer, plus some very special events soon to be announced.
