Presentation Secondary School, Kilkenny
The Presentation Secondary School has been revealed as the top all girls feeder to third level education.
This comprehensive table provides a breakdown of where pupils from the Leaving Certificate class of 2022 enrolled in a higher education college in Ireland this year, with a comparison with 2021.
Prinicipal Shane Hallahan said that the staff and student body were delighted to be placed third best in the country with all the Leaving Cert students going onto third level education.
"We are thrilled our school has been named as the top feeder all girls school and the third overall feeder school to Universities in Ireland.
"Here in Presentation Kilkenny, we place great emphasis on excellence in teaching and learning for students of all abilities.
This is testament to our progressive and emerging methodologies employed everyday in the classroom and the diverse extra- curricular programme we offer to enable students to reach their full potential and beyond.
"While it is a privilege to be recognised in this capacity, our school ethos will always be to ensure optimal levels of wellbeing for all students in a safe, secure, learning environment.
This ensures the holistic development of each pupil placed in our care.
"Well done to all students, staff, and parents on this great achievement," said Mr Hallahan.
