Kilkenny harpist plays at Seanad centenary event

KILKENNY

Mary Kelly, a harpist and native of Freshford

Mary Kelly, a harpist and native of Freshford, has performed in the Seanad Chamber in Leinster House, Dublin, to commence the Special Commemorative Sitting of Seanad Eireann to mark its Centenary (Seanad 100).

Mary previously played for Prince Charles (now King Charles) in the Brú Ború Cultural Centre, Cashel, Tipperary. In 2011, she performed for Queen Elizabeth II of England at the Rock of Cashel in Tipperary, during her State Visit to Ireland.
