Free sustainable webinars for local communities in Kilkenny

A series of free 3cea webinars on sustainability will take place over the coming weeks.

The webinars begin on February 1 and will give you the information to make 2022 the year your community saves energy and produces greener energy.

This series is directed towards community groups in the South East, (Tidy Town groups  and community groups in Carlow, Kilkenny, Wexford and Waterford). The aim of these events is to provide basic information and introduce community groups from the South East to the SEAI’s Sustainable Energy Community (SEC) programme, highlighting the recruitment process, community engagement, grants, and funding opportunities.

“Communities often come to us at 3cea and want to know what they can do to save energy. They want greener energy use, ” said Gráinne Grainne Kennedy, Energy Engineer and Co-ordinator of the South East SEC programme. “These webinars will help people understand what can be done with community buildings, and homes, how to increase the use of renewable energy and, most importantly, where to get funding to make it possible.”

You can register as a Community for the SEC programme and learn what you need to do to be successful. Meet the South East SEC  team, understand the SEC programme and learn what’s possible.
