Two vehicles were stopped and seized on local roads earlier this week by Kilkenny Roads Policing Unit.
According to gardaí, one vehicle was being driven by a learner permit holder who was unaccompanied at the time.
The vehicle also had no tax or NCT.
The second vehicle, a jeep (pictured above), was out of tax by nearly a year and was not displaying insurance.
Both were seized under Section 41 of the Road Traffic Act.
Prosecutions to follow.
