A new project at the community's amenity park is central to the drive for 2023
Ballinakill's development group and GAA club has teamed up once again in raised vital funds for new community projects in 2023.
The Ballinakill Commuity Development Association and Ballinakill GAA Club thank all those who supported the Euromillions 2022 Syndicate which they're running again over the next 12 months.
They say funding raised has been used for continued development of our the swimming pool and hurling arena. A big project is in the pipeline so more funds are needed.
The two groups appealed locally for support.
"The Development Association was recently awarded a grant of €250k to install a multi-use games area at the Amenity Park but 'match funding' must be raised to accept the grant. The syndicate is the main fundraiser we appreciate your continued support. New members also welcome," said the appeal.
They also expressed gratitude for all help given to make Ballinakill a better place to live.
"Thank you to all who work with us and support our work to further develop the facilities for all in the community," said the two groups.
The 2023 syndicate commences on Wednesday, January 11. Membership costing €40, continues to be available from Association members and the GAA as well as online at www.member.clubforce.com at this link HERE.
