Properties on sale in Laois for €100,000 or less

Although house prices are continuing to rise in Laois, there are still properties available to those on a lower budget or looking for somewhere to do up. Here’s four properties on sale for €100,000 or less in the county.

In Lismouragha, Errill, William Mansfield Property Partners are selling a detached two bedroom house on 0.321 of an acre for €95,000. The property covers a modest 51 square metres and has a G Building Energy Rating(BER).

In Mountrath,  4 Dunnes Terrace, Patrick Street is on sale for €99,000.  Standing in the centre of the town with the bus stop on the doorstep, the 102 square metre property has a BER G rating.  

Auctioneer Sherry Fitzgerald Hyland Keating states that: “The property does require refurbishment but there are grants of up to €80,000 available. If managed properly the new owners could end up with an A rated home in the town centre and the grants will have covered the cost.”

In Portarlington, Tom McDonald & Associates have a top floor one bed apartment on sale in for €100,000.

A three bed apartment in the heart of Rathdowney is on sale for €70,000. The 110 square metre property is being sold by Mansfield Property Partners.  

Mansfield Property Partners say the property is located in the centre of town and within walking distance of all amenities including, shops, primary and secondary schools, chemist, pubs and hairdressers.
