Main Street, Portlaoise which will be closed nightly until Thursday
The Main Street in Portlaoise will close to traffic nightly until Thursday.
Laois County Council advised motorists of the plan to close Market Square and Main Street in Portlaoise from the Junction with the N80 Market Square Roundabout to the junction of Church Avenue.
The closure will take place on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday evening from 6pm to midnight. The council is closing the road in order to remove Christmas lights.
