Students at Portlaoise College
A Portlaoise secondary school has organisers a special event aimed at helping to inform parents about second-level education.
Portlaoise College is hosting a panel discussion where various educational stakeholders will outline how their roles support students in giving them a positive secondary school learning experience.
The school says panelists will share their experience on various aspects of education in response to questions from host Daman Bowe.
The school says the Stakeholder Seminar is aimed at anyone who has an interest in secondary school education.
The LOETB school says it is especially suitable for parents whose child is about to start secondary school. You can register to attend the event which takes place in Portlaoise College on the town's Mountrath Road on Thursday, February 9, 7-8pm.
