Paul Lawlor from Emo was part of the Leinster Rounders team which claimed the Interprovincial title in Abbotstown on Sunday.
Lawlor who has a Leinster Football medal from Laois' win in 2003 hit the match winning score to secure the title for Leinster in an epic final with Ulster with the victors winning 13-12.
Leinster's path to the final was far from simple as they trailed 8-2 after the second innings against Connacht in the semi-final. Leinster showing their true fighting spirit to reach the final. Their backs were against the wall in the final too as in the last innings, they needed four to win. Step up, Paul Lawlor who put his name in lights with the score to take the crown.
