Timahoe will be the place to be over the June Bank Holiday weekend when the village hosts a Heritage Festival which includes a Heritage Run.
The enthusiastic local organisers say the Timahoe Heritage Festival celebrates the rich history and culture of the Laois village. They promise a variety of events, including re-enactments, heritage runs, historical talks, arts and crafts, workshops, demonstrations, Vikings, monks, warriors and much much more.
The festival takes place on June June 3rd & 4th and attracts visitors from near and far, offering a unique opportunity to experience the vibrant and fascinating heritage of Timahoe and its surrounding region.
