Laois County Council plans to close a Laois Road daily until the end of the week.
A traffic diversion will be put in place for the daily closures at Heywood Demesne, Ballinakill.
The council said the L77974 at Heywood Demesne, Ballinakill between the junction with the R432 Church Street to the junction with the L-77974 Masslough Road will close between 8am and 6pm this Wednesday, Thursday and Friday inclusive.
The closure is necessary to facilitate drainage works.
