Laois people are set to be given a chance to savour the delights of the Abbey Leix House and grounds when the at the Abbeyleix House and Farm Annual Family Day which returns again this summer.
And, the organisers say this year’s event, at the property owned by Stripe billionaire John Collison, promises to be even bigger and better.
A centrepiece of this year's day which the organisers believe will really give everyone will be a 5 km Run (or walk!) through the beautiful grounds at 11 am.
Another feature is the visit of the famous Gordon Bennett Run which will see lots of classic cars and their drivers from all around Ireland and beyond honour the estate with a visit!

There'll be a complimentary shuttle bus departing from The Manor Hotel R32VE24 & from Abbeyleix South NS R32PP79 as welll as onsite parking in paddocks also.
The event is open to all ages but all patrons must have a valid ticket including minors. Under 16s must be accompanied by an adult.
