Laois' Damon Larkin has been selected in this week's Tailteann Cup Team of the Week which was released by the GAA this afternoon.
Larkin had a fine performance in the middle of the park for Billy Sheehan's side against Offaly as he kicked two fine scores in the first-half. His second point coming as a result of him winning an opposing kick-out before the Portlaoise man split the posts.
He was also instrumental in Laois' defending as there were countless times he won the ball in the air whether it be clean catches or batting the ball down to a team mate.
Larkin's inspired showing on Saturday evening wasn't enough to propel Laois over the line as Offaly fought back from six points down to level the game at the death thanks to a point from substitute Nigel Bracken.

Laois end their Tailteann Cup campaign against London on Saturday June 3 where a win should see Laois progress to a preliminary quarter-final.
