Chloe Keenan and Cillin Hoey have had remarkable seasons
Emo-Rath A.C. athletes Chloe Keenan and Cillin Hoey were recently honoured with Star awards by Athletics Leinster and Athletics Ireland.
Chloe received a Leinster Star award in Tullamore last week. This was in recognition of her excellent performances at Leinster competitions in 2022. Cillin Hoey recently received an Athletics Ireland Star award for his outstanding performances at National level last year, where he won three National titles.
This year has also been going well for the Emo-Rath duo, to date they have won a bunch of Leinster titles between them and National medals in Indoors earlier in the year, followed by National medals at All-Ireland schools recently. They will shortly be competing in the National outdoor championships. The club would like to wish them every success in the upcoming nationals.
Training at Emo-Rath A.C. is on Monday nights from 6.30pm – 7.30pm for younger athletes while for older athletes training is on Friday nights at 6.30pm and Sunday nornings at 11.15am. New athletes always welcome.
