Rosaleen Dunne - Ballyfin
The death took place on Saturday, July 1 of Rosaleen (Rosie) Dunne (née Gorman) of Deerpark, Ballyfin.
Peacefully at The Midlands Regional Hospital Portlaoise surrounded by her loving family. Predeceased by her daughter Ita, her sister Maureen Clear and her brother Oliver. Deeply regretted by her loving husband John Joe, her daughters Mairead, Martina and Celine, her sons Joe and Eugune, grandchildren Tammy, Enda and Orla, great grandchild Luca. Sadly missed by her sisters Kathleen Wisely and Pauline Scott, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and a large circle of friends.
Reposing in Moloney's Funeral Home Mountmellick on Monday from 6pm with Rosary at 8pm. Funeral arriving to St. Fintan's Church, Ballyfin on Tuesday for 11am Requiem Mass. Burial afterwards in St. Fintan's Cemetery.

Margaret Blackwell - Ballinakill
The death took place on Saturday, July 1 of Margaret (Peggy) Blackwell (née Maher) of Tramore, Co Waterford and formerly England and Ballinakill.
Peacefully on Saturday surrounded by her family and in the care of the staff at Waterford University Hospital.
Predeceased by her son Stephen Rees, her parents Mr. and Mrs. Paddy Maher, her husbands John Blackwell and Peter Rees, her brothers Jerry, Joe, Martin, John, Jim, Oliver and her sister Nelly. Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her family and friends, daughter Bernie Kinsella, Fairybush, son David Rees, Bunmahon, son Peter Rees and daughter in law Joan, England, brothers Michael, Ned, Paddy, Noel and sisters Mary, Kathleen, Esther, Bridie and Sheila. Grandchildren, Sara, Rachel, Aoibhe, Johanna, Aoife, Padraig, PJ, Paula, Barbara, Eleanor and her ten great grandchildren.
Reposing at Hennessy’s Funeral Home, Johnstown, Waterford, X91FW4A on Tuesday 4th July, from 5pm to 7pm, followed by prayers. Requiem Mass on Wednesday the 5th July at 11am in St Brigids Church, Ballinakill, Laois. Burial afterwards in St Brigids cemetery.
Patrick Hughes - Mountmellick
The death took place on Thursday, June 29 of Patrick (Pat) Hughes of Kilnacash, The Rock, Mountmellick, and formerly of Newbridge, County Kildare and Tallaght, Dublin.
Suddenly, but peacefully, after a short illness, bravely borne. Predeceased by his loving wife Margaret (Aida), parents Paddy Joe and Carmel, brothers Mick and Dave. Sadly missed by his loving sons Stephen and Alan, sisters Jean and Noelle, daughters-in-law Anita and Laura, grandsons Bobby, Riley and Olly, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.
Reposing at his residence in Kilnacash, The Rock, Mountmellick (eircode R32 X8R6) on Sunday evening (2nd July) from 3pm with Rosary at 7pm. Removal on Monday morning (3rd July) arriving St Paul's Church, Emo, County Laois (eircode R32 RY16) for Requiem Mass at 11am. Funeral afterwards to Newlands Cross Cemetery, Dublin arriving at 1:30pm.
John Seymour - Graiguecullen
The death took place on Wednesday, June 28 of John (Sean) Seymour of 3 Church St., Graiguecullen.
Peacefully, surrounded by his loving family in the care of the nurses and Staff at The Hillview Nursing Home, Tullow Rd., Carlow. Cherished brother of Recie, Kathleen, Ann and the late Melvin. He will be sadly missed by his loving sisters, brother-in-law Peter, sister-in-law Una, nephews, nieces, extended family, relatives and friends.
Reposing at Carpenter Bros Funeral Home, Graiguecullen, on Tuesday, July 4th from 4pm, concluding with Prayers at 7pm that evening. Removal on Wednesday at 9.45am to St Clare’s Church, Graiguecullen, arriving for Funeral Mass at 10am. Burial afterwards in St Mary’s Cemetery, Carlow.

Rory Deegan - Cullohill
The death took place on Sunday, June 25 of Rory Deegan of Oldtown, Cullohill.
Tragically in Zakynthos Greece. Predeceased by his infant sister Laura, his grandparents John and Mary Cullen, Marble Crest, Kilkenny and his aunt Agnes Hyland. Deeply regretted by his heartbroken parents Joe and Diane, brothers Conor, Barry, Ross, Jack and sister Rachael, his grandparents Donal and Margaret, his uncles, aunts, cousins, extended family, neighbours, his large circle of friends and his beloved dog Spud.
Reposing at his home (Eircode R32 C426) on Sunday July 2nd and Monday July 3rd from 4pm concluding with prayers at 8pm both evenings. Removal on Tuesday morning July 4th to St. Tighearnach's Church, Cullohill arriving for Requiem Mass at 12 noon followed by interment in the adjoining Cemetery.
Michael Ging - Portlaoise
The death took place on Wednesday, June 28 of Michael (Mick) Ging of Green Road, Portlaoise.
Peacefully, surrounded by his family in the compassionate care of the doctors, nurses and staff at St. James's Hospital, Dublin. Mick will be sadly missed by his loving wife Breda, daughters Yvonne and Antoinette, sons Padraig and John, devoted grandchildren Jack, Aaron, Michael, Patrick, Sean, Jeremy, Owen, Alex, Oscar, Cian and Hannah, sons-in-law Gerhard and Philip, daughters-in-law Anna and Emi, brothers, sisters, brother-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, extended family, neighbours, friends and his former work colleagues at Portlaoise General Hospital
Reposing at his home on Sunday from 4pm until 8pm for family and close friends. House private at all other times, please. Removal on Monday morning to St. Peter and St. Paul's Church, Portlaoise, arriving for Funeral Mass at 12 noon, followed by burial in St. Peter and St. Paul's Cemetery, Portlaoise.
