This Friday evening, we will see a repeat of the 2022 Senior Hurling final as Camross take on Clough-Ballacolla in the ACHL Division 1 final decider.

Clough-Ballacolla had an easy win in the semi-finals as they had nine points to spare over Rathdowney-Errill while Camross were pushed to the pin of their collar as they needed extra-time to get the better of Abbeyleix on Tuesday evening. They eventually secured a two-point victory after 80 minutes of hurling.

On October 2 2022, Clough-Ballacolla secured their third successive Laois Senior Hurling Championship with a nine-point victory over Camross. Garry Mernagh is now at the helm for the county champions and he'll be looking at winning silverware at the first opportunity.

Both sides are littered with high-quality players as Dan Delaney and Stephen 'Picky' Maher both shone brightest in their semi-final victories. Delaney fired in a tally of 1-12 for Camross against Abbeyleix while Picky scored 2-6 in Clough-Ballacolla's victory over Rathdowney-Errill.

Camross will be hoping to reverse last year's result where Rathdowney-Errill got the better of them in the league decider while Clough-Ballacolla will be hoping that this is the start of another great season where they'll be hoping to get their hands of the Bob O'Keefe Cup for the fourth year running.

The Laois Shopping Centre ACHL Division 1 final throws-in at 7.30pm on Friday July 7 in the LOETB Centre of Excellence. This is a ticket-only event and tickets can be bought here.
