Paralympian Nicole Turner will take to the water this week as she competes for Team Ireland at the Para Swimming World Championships in Manchester.
Turner is due to begin her campaign on Wednesday evening where she'll compete in the 200m Individual Medley final with the race estimated to start at 7.02pm Irish time.
The Portarlington swimmer then has a day of rest before three successive days in the pool. On Friday morning, she'll enter the 50m Freestyle Heats with the final due to take place on Friday evening. Saturday sees her back into another final, this time it's the 100m Breaststroke Final. Her campaign ends on Sunday as she competes in the 50m Butterfly Final.
The Paralympic silver medalist from Tokyo adds to the experience of the team, hoping to qualify for her third Paralympic games this year. Turner has picked up two silver medals on the Para Swimming World Series in both Melbourne and Minneapolis this year.
Nicole is joined on the Irish team by fellow Paralympians Ellen Keane, Róisín Ní Riain and Barry McClements. Derbhaile Brady will make her major championship debut for Ireland.

Wednesday August 2- 200m Individual Medley Final at 7.02pm
Friday August 4- 50m Freestyle Heat at 11.26am , final that same evening at 7.48pm
Saturday August 5- 100m Breaststroke Final at 7.43pm
Sunday August 6- 50m Butterfly Final at 7.23pm
