New all weather pitch plans for Portlaoise. AFC
The largest soccer club in Portlaoise has lodged plans for a new all weather pitch at its grounds.
Portlaoise AFC lodged the plans for Rossleighan Park with Laois County Council on Tuesday.
“The development will consist of permission for an Astro Turf pitch, fencing, lighting and all associated works,” the application states.
The planning application is still at a pre-validation stage.
Laois County Council expects to have a decision in relation to the application in December.
