A Laois secondary school is primed to charm audiences with its first-ever school musical, 'Beauty and the Beast Jr', bringing a touch of Disney magic to the local stage.
The musical, featuring the talented students of St Fergal's College in Rathdowney, will unfold at Rathdowney Community Centre with performances on Thursday, January 25 and Friday, January 26 at 8pm.
The community is buzzing with excitement as students prepare to dazzle with the enchanting music of Alan Menken and the memorable lyrics of Howard Ashman and Tim Rice, based on the book by Linda Woolverton.
Tickets went on public sale during the week and are available through the School Office during working hours. Prompt purchase is encouraged with seats for both nights filling up already.
Tickets are priced at €15 for adults and a discounted rate of €10 for students and OAPs, promising an affordable night of entertainment.
