Dagogo Hart on RTE with Tommy Tiernan
A newcomer to Laois who is a performing poet has told his story on RTE on The Tommy Tiernan Show.
Dagogo Hart was one of Tommy's guests on March 16.
The poet, writer, spoken-word artist and pharmacist recently moved to Portlaoise from Dublin.
He told Tommy he moved to Laois a month ago with his wife because of homes were more affordable in Portlaoise than Dublin.
Apart from talking about his creative passion and performing some of his work, Dagogo joked with Tommy about already picking up a Portlaoise accent.
Thd Nigerian native who has lived in Kerr, Cork and Dublin during his 14 years in Ireland, also chatted about the challenges of getting a haircut in Portlaoise.
Hart’s poetry is inspired by his hometown in Lagos and his experiences since moving to Ireland.
