Laois Gardaí observed a car being driven with the driver side of the front window completely smashed.
Gardaí said they stopped the car in Mountrath and discovered the driver had no valid licence and the car was untaxed. The car was seized.
Meanwhile, another car was detected for not having insurance on the M7 in Laois earlier in the week. Gardaí were alerted to the car by their Automatic Number Plate Recognition(ANPR) device.
“There was also no tax or NCT on the vehicle which was seized. Court proceedings commenced against the driver,” gardaí stated.
