Festival fever is coming to Portlaoise this June, with the return of the hugely successful Old Fort Quarter Festival.
Based from the town's medieval 16th century Fort, the town centre festival runs from Thursday to Sunday, June 27 to 30, offering brilliant live music acts, a family fun day and live heritage demos.
The full line-up has just been announced with details on ticket sales.
"Don't miss your chance to be a part of one of Ireland's most anticipated music events of the year. Mark your calendars, spread the word, and join us for a weekend of music, laughter, and memories that will last a lifetime," the organisers promise.
Thursday is headlined by festival newcomers The Tumbling Paddies, supported by George Murphy.

Friday, June 28 sees the return of crowd favorites The Whistlin' Donkeys.
Saturday, June 29 features an Oasis tribute by 'Live Forever' and a performance by local favorites Pogueology, ensuring a night of non-stop entertainment and sing-along classics.
Sunday, June 30, promises to end the festival on a high note with the sensational Smash Hits party band taking centre stage
But the excitement doesn't stop there. No Old Fort Festival would be complete without showcasing local talent, including the ever-popular Transmitter and The Dooley Brothers, who are sure to bring their signature energy and charm to the stage.
This year's festival goers will enjoy a new permanent roof and stage for the main outdoors venue inside the Old Fort itself, under installation by Laois County Council.
The organisers say they have a commitment to green energy, ensuring a sustainable and environmentally friendly event for all to enjoy.
Sunday, June 30 will host family-friendly events from 12 noon to 6pm, details yet to be announced.
To celebrate the launch of this year's lineup, early bird weekend tickets will go on sale on Thursday, May 9 at 1pm. Priced at €85 for the entire weekend, they are expected to sell out fast. Daily tickets will also be available for €32, making it easy for music fans on a budget to experience the magic of the Old Fort Quarter Festival.
