Portlaoise College plays its part for  climate action

Students from Portlaoise College are doing their part for climate action having recently planted trees and wildflowers at the school.

After raising over €118 euro during their recent bake sale class 2C used their funds to purchase two trees and wildflower seeds.

"Well done to Josh Kirwan who had a great idea to plant a tree while our class discussed possible action ideas," said the school.

"Well done to all on their hard work and dedication to their action project."
