Mountmellick's first Heritage and Arts Festival is in full swing with a packed schedule of events over the weekend. The festival, organised by Mountmellick Arts Collective and supported by Creative Ireland Laois, will run until Sunday, July 14. It involves local talent showcasing across multiple venues. Among the events held was the Video Art installation on the Famine Commemoration Walk remastered 1995 video shown in The Balcony Theatre. Photographer Alf Harvey was there to snap all the action.
