'The legend has retired' - Telfords hosts lovely send off for security man 'Jack the Builder'

It was all smiles at the retirement party of 'Jack the Builder', as the beloved security guard received a good send off from Laois business Telfords last week.

Telfords Portlaoise, a building and electrical retailer, said it was "lovely" for management and staff to give Jack a good send off, as they were joined by Jack Kavanagh's family and friends to celebrate his years of service.

In a post on Facebook, the company shared some images of the "good send off", and thanked Jack for his 24 years of service as a security man.

Jack, a well-liked man in the company, also received many well wishes from Telfords' customers and suppliers.

"We wish Jack, “the Builder” many years of good health and happiness," the company added.
