A potentially life saving defibrillator has been donated to Camross village by the local GAA club.

The community in Camross are working together to enhance emergency services locally and recently accepted a donation of the new equipment.

The funds raised by the community on the Pride of Place Day 2023 (Poets Cottage Tea Rooms) purchased a new Antifrost Defib Box and first aid supplies for the defib. All this is now in place at Camross Community Hall. Eircode: R32YEF6

"The remaining €250 raised has now been donated to the Red Cross to help with the upkeep of equipment. Thank you again to everyone involved in the fundraising, donations, and installation of this important equipment," said a community spokesperson.
