Aspiring musicians of all ages got the chance to try out an instrument at Laois School of Music and Music Generation Laois' annual open evening. Laois Music Centre is a unique facility for music education in the midlands, located on Church Avenue in Portlaoise with top of the range facilities for music students. Laois Music Centre houses both Music Generation Laois and Laois School of Music.
Classes are available for children aged four up to adults of all ages, with individual classes, group classes and a wide range of ensemble options available. An instrument hire service is also available.
