It was the end of an era in People First Credit Union in Portlaoise this week as staff and customers bid farewell to Deirdre Walsh who has worked with the organisation for 20 years.
Taking to social media to wish Deirdre well in her next chapter, People First Credit Union said: "Today marks the end of an era in People First, as we bid farewell to our dear colleague Deirdre Walsh. Deirdre has dedicated an incredible 20 years of service to our Credit Union. She has worked within many roles from front counter to her current role within Lending.
