Man in court over St Patrick’s Day accident in Stradbally

A man appeared in court accused of dangerous driving in relation to an accident in Stradbally on St Patrick’s Day. 

Raymond Barrett (59) of Luggacurran, Portlaoise is accused of dangerous driving on Main Street in Stradbally on March 17, 2024. 

A garda told a sitting of Portlaoise District Court that the allegation “related to a traffic accident in Stradbally” on the date in question. 

Judge Andrew Cody remanded the case back to Portlaoise District Court on October 17.
