Laois County Council have announced the construction of 14 housing units in Portarlington, and have asked the public to help name the development.
The homes are intended for the elderly, and will be located near Bracklone Street in Portarlington.
The development will consist of 11 units in total; eight one-bed single storey units, and three two-bed single storey units.
There will be 14 car parking spots available, with the project expected to commence in mid-2025.
Laois County Councillor Aidan Mullins posted a call for submissions on Facebook, asking for suitable name suggestions.
