A young man from Laois has recently started his own kindling business, and is receiving customers all across the county.
Twelve year old Adam Conroy from Camross was wracking his brains for ways to make more pocket money, when he decided to open his own business from his shed.
With help from his brother Jason, their mother Martina and her partner Noel, Adam is now delivering his €3.50 bags of kindling as far as Durrow and Abbeyleix.
"My partner saw the interest he took in this idea, and he went out and bought him a saw and some bags," Ms Conroy said.
"The three boys work away in the shed helping Adam. I posted on Facebook about his business, and my phone has been hopping since!" Ms Conroy said.

"Adam has always been a great worker, he would turn his hand to anything. I offered to deliver the kindling by myself, and he refused. He told me, 'no Mammy, that wouldn't be a good start to my business- people will think you're taking it over!'" Ms Conroy laughed.
Adam originally planned on delivering his kindling on Mondays, but the high demand recently had him out late on a school night. The delivery day has since been changed to Saturday.
"He comes in from school and wolfs down his dinner, I have to make sure he does his homework before he's racing out to the shed," Ms Conroy said.
Customers ring Adam's mother with orders for kindling, and Adam keeps a notebook of customers names, locations, and the amount of bags they want.
Adam is in sixth class in Killanure, and has received great support from his teachers.
"His teachers put in an order for a few bags of kindling, he went into school delighted with his bag on his back, carrying his bags of kindling," she said.
"He has such a good heart, and this has been great for his confidence. We recently dropped out a bag of kindling to a lovely older couple, and Adam hopped out of the car to chat with them himself. He then threw in three extra bags for them, he's very kind like that," Ms Conroy said.

Adam often spends his weekends working with his uncle, and has had to rethink his schedule due to his business demands.
"He told my brother that he won't be able to work this weekend, he has too many deliveries. Then I hear him tell one of his friends in school that he might have some work for him on Saturday!" Ms Conroy said.
"I'd love to thank everyone who has supported Adam as he's starting off, it means the world," she finished.
