A 55 acre block of Laois farmland is coming up for auction, with a guide price of three quarter of a million euros.
The land is next to Vicarstown village, according to selling agent Hennessy Auctioneers.
The auction will take place in mid November online.
"Hennessy Auctioneers are delighted to bring to the market a 55 acre block of agricultural land at Vicarstown, Co. Laois. These lands will be sold by Online Auction on Thursday 14th November at 3pm via the LSL Auction Platform.
"This property is conveniently located on the edge of Vicarstown village with the local church, GAA field and community centre all within short walking distance. Stradbally Town is 5km, Athy is 12km, Portlaoise is 15km and Emo M7 interchange is 5km.
"The land is best described as mixed by nature. There is 15.5 acres arable by nature and currently in tillage. The remaining 39.5 acres is old permanent pasture requiring some drainage, reclamation and reseeding. The pasture land comes with a cattle pen/crush.
"The property will be offered for sale as 3 separate lots: Lot 1 - Circa 15.5 acres access onto the Vicarstown/Emo road (Guide price €275k). Lot 2 - Circa 39.5 acres access onto the Vicarstown/Stradbally road (Guide price €475k). Lot 3 - The Entire (Guide Price €750k)"
