Transition year students Sasha O'Keefe and Isabel McDonald will represent Heywood Community School at the Dublin final of Junk Kouture.
This international competition sees students design and model their own creations made from recycled materials.
Ms O'Keefe and Ms McDonald will present the design at the Dublin final in the RDS on Tuesday October 1.
The pair designed and created the creative outfit themselves, using only recycled materials. They undertook this task under the mentorship of art teacher Ms Sharon Webster.
Heywood Community School have wished their students the best of luck.

The event will be televised on RTÉ One at 6:30pm on Tuesday, with influencer Black Paddy as MC for the event.
Ten schools will be chosen to represent Ireland in the Junk Kouture World Final.
Judges for the competition have included X-Factor star Louis Walsh being joined by Rosanna Davison, Una Healy, Pippa O'Connor Ormond, Doireann Garrihy, Rob Condon, Lorna McGee and Vogue Williams since 2014.
Junk Kouture was founded in 2010 by Irish businessman Troy Armour, and has grown to include international in London, New York City, Milan, Paris and Abu Dhabi.
All materials used by contestants must be recycled or re-purposed, with the use of new materials prohibited.

The aim of the competition is to encourage sustainability in younger generations.
