Local link services have announced cancellations in Laois
Bus cancellations have been announced by TFI Local Link Laois Offaly ahead of the arrival of heavy snowfall this weekend.
Providing an update on the RRS Services the company said due to Met Éireann's status orange weather warning for snow and ice in counties Laois, Offaly and Carlow and for the safety of their drivers and passengers they will not be running the following services:
Saturday January 4th 2025
815 Tullamore to Athlone Cancelled Services 22:00 from Tullamore and 23:15 from Athlone
822 Mountrath to Carlow Cancelled Services 19:00 from Mountrath and 20:45 from Carlow
823 Birr to Portlaoise Cancelled Services 21:10 from Birr, 22:40 from Portlaoise
834 Portlaoise to Roscrea Cancelled Services 20:20 and 23:00 from Portlaoise and 21:15 and 23:55 from Roscrea
840 Banagher to Tullamore Cancelled Services 19:40 from Banagher and 21:05 from Tullamore
850 Roscrea to Athlone Cancelled Services 21:00 from Athlone and 21:48 from Roscrea
858 Portlaoise to Thurles Cancelled Services 20:25 from Portlaoise and 21:30 from Urlingford

806 Portarlington to Monasterevin starts at 11:15 from Portarlington
815 Tullamore to Athlone starts at 10:00 from Tullamore
822 Mountrath to Carlow starts at 12:05 from Mountrath
823 Birr to Portlaoise starts at 12:10 from Birr
834 Portlaoise to Roscrea starts at 10:30 from Portlaoise
840 Banagher to Tullamore starts at 11:00 from Banagher
850 Roscrea to Athlone starts at 12:00 from Athlone and 12:05 from Thurles
858 Portlaoise to Thurles starts at 9:30 from Portlaoise
TFI Local Link Laois Offaly also announced they will not be running the following evening services on Saturday, January 4 and Sunday, January 5:
554 Ballyfin – Coolrain via Camross and surrounding area
555 Rosenallis and surrounding area
556 Rosenallis and surrounding area
4728 Mountrath/Castletown and surrounds
10075 Ballyfin and surrounds
4729 Emo and surrounds
4730 Kinnitty via Longford & Roscomroe
10112 Kinnitty via Cadamstown & Fivealley
