Former Eurovision winner Dana to perform charity concert in Laois
The Legendary Eurovision Song Contest winner Dana is set to perform a concert in Laois, at the Abbeyleix Manor Hotel, on Sunday, 2nd February at 7.30pm.
It promises to be a special evening of music and song. It is fitting that alongside many well-know favourites the performance of her new song, dedicated to St Brigid, will be performed on the bank holiday weekend in honour of the saint.
Local musical delights of The Cullinhane Family will warm up the crowd for a very wholesome and enjoyable night, bound to put a “Spring” in your step!
All proceeds of the concert will go towards the promotion of of this Jubilee year's "Sacred Heart Crusade of Love & Hope”, a national crusade culminating at Knock Shrine on June 22nd, where Archbishop Eamon Martin will be present to renew the country’s consecration for the first time in over a hundred & fifty years. This mission will have a particular focus of engagement at parish level, especially with the youth of Ireland.
