Where can locals access salt bins in Laois during the cold snap?

With Met Éireann issuing another Status Orange weather warning for low temperatures and ice in Laois, here are the locations you need to know for accessing salt bins.

Laois is in for more freezing temperatures over the coming days as Met Éireann has issued a fresh Status Orange weather warning for the county.

The weather warning for low temperatures and ice will impact 13 counties and is valid from 7pm on Thursday evening until 8am on Friday morning.

With more sub zero temperatures expected, disruptions to travel on roads and on foot are anticipated to continue right up until the weekend.

In addition to priority routes salted and gritted by Laois County Council crews, there are salt bins available across the county for locals to access themselves during the cold snap.
