Portlaoise man Zach Tuohy may have hung up his boots as a sports star but his popularity in Australia has led to him officially getting celebrity status with confirmation that he has joined the Aussie version of I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!
The Belad native is one of 11 celebrities who have traded their glamourous lives for a once-in-a-lifetime experience living in the South African jungle.
The Irish man, who reached the top of his sport before retiring in 2024, commented on his fears as he entered the show being aired by Chanel 10 Down Under.
Fans are already looking forward to him featuring.

Zach was back in Portlaoise at the end of 2024 to launch his sporting autobiography 'Zach Tuohy - The Irish Experiment'.

Married to Rebecca and the father of two children, Zach won the AFL Grand Final in 2022. His dad Noel and mum Marie still live in Portlaoise where runs a business and retains big links with the local GAA community in the Portlaoise club.
